Apex started with one van and one rule: do the job properly and people will call you back. Twenty-seven years on, that's still how we run.
The way we work
A firm small enough to care, old enough to know how.
We're five engineers who between us have seen just about every way a Bristol house can go wrong. Victorian terraces in Totterdown, new-builds out in Emersons Green, pubs and shops along North Street — we've worked on all of them.
We don't use subcontractors and we don't hand you off to a call centre. The person who quotes your job is usually the person who does it, and the number on the van is the number that gets answered.
We're Gas Safe registered, our work is guaranteed, and we'd rather tell you a boiler isn't worth fixing than sell you a repair that won't last.

Dave Marchetti starts Apex out of a single van in St Philips.

Tom joins; we take on our first commercial heating contracts.

Move into the current Days Road unit and workshop.

Start the round-the-clock emergency rota after years of ad-hoc callouts.
